Just an FYI:
I'm about 80% done with editing the model before I import it into Pepakura. I will probably have it done sometime this weekend, since I found a great way to do the engines. So stay tuned...

Ok, it's done. The guns are there, and it's colored too. It's at the bottom of the list of models. Hiigaran DestroyerComments are welcome, and if anyone has a better to do that damned bridge, let me know.  |

Fructose strikes again. Now the Hiigy engines look do-able. Nice one! As for the bridge  Nope. Only thing I might try is to carve a shape from wood and glue the paper panels on..... I might also - one day!!!! (I must stop making these mental plans and look at my office diary first......) have a go at a hybrid of Frucs model and Aces. Use Frucs guns and engines and Ace's hull to have two different versions. |

Ace I had a go at building your unfold of the Hiigaran destroyer the other day. Like you said the bridge structure is pretty tough and I'm considering carving some balsa wood to shape and gluing the paper pannels to its surface. OK Ok thats cheating. Guess what? I don't care.... As with most large Hiigy ships its the damn engines that are the major problem (why oh why did they abandon the classic Kushan design......) Anyway, I noticed (my powers of observation must be failing me) that there are no gun turrets on the .pdo. did you ever manage to unfold these. IIRC the equivalent turrets on Jossips cruiser were a sod to build..... Actually thats not cheating. paper is wood. same material. |

Well, since I'm here first, I'll say it She had login problems and switched over. Balsa wood would rock my world for a model, but I've recently built a big, non-detailed castle out of it and I'm totally sick of making anything out of wood. I'll stick with paper. |
