Hey all! I'm still alive... Got a new Puter the old one died a few weeks ago . So What's everybody working on? I was reading one of the other threads about how quiet it is here now. And I don't know about all of you but I can never find any new meshes that I can work on in pepakura! I"d really like to see a workable Omega class destroyer mesh though. I also like the look of this Jupiter incident game, anyone got any meshes for it?

Have you tried extracting the omega mesh from Great wars III Babylon 5 mod for hw1?

Life is good-broke but good. Bought a new PC, and a car. I haven't downloaded Pepakura yet, I will; but I want to get a few more "enhancements" running before I do. I don't know if I'll reinstall Metasequoia or deep exploration. As far as extracting the Omega mesh from the GW mod, I wouldn't know where to begin. Any takers from our panel of resident uber-users? Right now I'm working on something a little more primative- A TMP era romulan warship that was featured in a graphic novel many moons ago. It's slow going, but it's turning out REALLY well.

Lucky you, I think my computer is going to be out of order soon... I've got problems with our electricity provider, so our electric machines are being damaged constantly...
My pc is not working propperly by now... (you know, not turning on when the button is pressed and making strange noises when it's working...) so If you stop hearing about me, my computer died.

Do you use a decent surge protector?
I invested in a reasonable one for my new PC and have - so far - had no problems. The lights flicker and th TV has switched itself off a few times but the PC is going strong...

I've got a mesh for an Omega Class but its untextured The site I found it on hasn't been updated in years so I doubt it ever will be texturised. I know of the Buda 5 mod for I War and have put out some feelers to see if they will make their B5 meshes available. Lost the link to their site. When I find it I'll put it here.

I'm still around too. I've been busy with other projects, but I still have a couple good paper models I'm working on. I'm about 1 step away from doing a beta test on a Hiigaran Carrier with all the add-ons on it. It's going to be 45cm long, so hopefully it will turn out good. But between that and all the other things I do, I'll be lucky if I finish it in a month.

My shipyards have been very busy these days huhuhu. Yesterday i finished a Hiigaran attack bomber, today the Turanic Ion frigate and while writing this im working on the Hiigaran Destroyer (resized to have 49 cm and if im lucky with rotative turrets) Once i finish the destroyer i will begin the Vaygr carrier (resized to be bigger -pepakura rules-) and other small models. I will post pics of them as soon as possible. And Fructose, Enterprise and all who creates models: thanks a lot for releasing those paper kits.

Elsinombre
Have you managed to resize the Hiigy Destroyer without printing parts over two pages?
Anyway sounds good.
First class point about thanking Fruc, Ent E, Ace et al (Nerath, Glove Gremdek ... the list goes on)

Anyway, we're all grateful to all those which have created paper models, for creating a friendly community and giving us all our good looking paper spaceships .

Heheh, no TonyG, i had to print some pieces in 2 pages... but only 3 of them (even after dividing them with the cut tool -the lower and lateral hull pieces-). But its not a bad sollution... once you join them again they dont look bad.

Speaking of absent friends, anyone heard from Gearz?
Last thing on the posts was in May and he had a familiy emergency to deal with. Nothing since then.
