I think thats the point. Like Xtron says, the ship would be too small to pack 2 mass drivers and two lateral rail guns. If you have all four then the ships performance would be so degraded that it would be a siting duck for the Kushan.... Not a bad idea that  The fact that the guys who moded this design thought about such things is encouraging. It really irritates me when I see, for example, some Star Trek home made designs where someone has stuck on a dozen extra phasers and launchers, extra naceeles yet gives no thought to whether the ship could actually have enough juice to run them.... |
