I've got some paper model of star wars Ships if any body want via e-mail i can send then again i've got all the textures from Ebon Hawk but in the game files i cant find the model file so my building of this model is stopped anybody help ??

hi everyone! its my first post here. Any one knows a way to use the models in x wing alliance to do paper models? the game have lots of models, that are very good, maybe we could do the same metod has homeworld and create paper models from them. this site has the best models in the download section - www.xwaupgrade.com/oh there was a way to do this... some time ago I had program to extract models (probably to *.3ds). But I can't find it right now. Talk to Ace I got it from he. Or talk to the authors of xwaupgrade they were using it for sure. And going back to the topic, check this link: www.starwars.pl/pokaz.php?id=3292 There are link to few star wars models made in pepakura(only in this news). some translating: Korweta koreliańska -> Corellian Corvet TIE Vadera -> Tie that Vader flew in. All models were made by Slawek(I don't know him). PS. Hail to the polish modelers! |

I seem to have some problems with papekura viewer, so I have not been able of opening the files. If these have instructions, then may have a place in paperstarships.

I believe this isnt the best place to post this since it differs from this posts subject, actually its not even starwars at all but didnt wanna open a new post for it.
so does anyone know where can i find papermodels from farscape.Specially peacekeeper ships!

Actually, the Lambda class shuttle i made DOES come from XWAupgrade  What You need to get the ship out of the game is the OPT23DS converter, which You can get here: www.darksaber.gaylenol.com/fileopted.htmAnd of courdse, a permission from XWAupgrade team to use their models would be nice  The .xwaup files You download for the game are actually renamed zip files. So rename them back to zip and You can extract .opt files containing both meshes and textures of the ships. Then use opt 2 3ds converter, and You'll have the ship and it's textures in 3ds format. [EDIT] It turns out that models Gremdek posted also use XWAupgrade meshes. [/EDIT] |

nice i see somebody else working on models from polish producers i mean the magazinez (don't really know if i am allowed to say names) liek the way that bismark was built i tought you guys were only in to scifi papermodels there were some nice starwars papermodels for free on the net but i can't really find teh link now  |
