A mesh is a 3D object created by a series of polygons syncronized in such a fashion as to create the desired object, such as a cube. In reality the mesh would be invisible without the white face or textures.
a texture is what goes over the mesh to give it more the look of the object. if a mesh has no texture then the faces' placement will be represented by a white "default" texture.

I still don't get how to post pics not on the internet. what is a URL, anyway? it sounds dumb but i have forgotten. i like lobsters to, but you can only get crayfish in tassie.
