necroposting (n) (verb : to necropost)
the act (usually seen as annoying and immature) of adding posts and replies to threads that are 'dead' - abandoned, forgotton, covered in dust and sitting in the far corners of the forum
especially comments that have nothing useful to add to the discussion.

got a idea / comment? add it into one of the |active| off-topic threads... or start your own!
