It takes a bit of messing around with. I still don't know all the ticks, but I'm learning. And I figure if I can lessen the pain for others, then all the better. Oh, Step 4 is done for those who are waiting for it.

Just dropping by to give a word of encouragement...you rule, Fruc, and this is exactly what so many newbies need. I'm just watching the thread, seeing how far you're coming...

At a sci-fi/fantasy writing workshop. I posted once during the workshop, but I didn't get too much time on the net. *sigh* Gotta finish that novel, so I can be published one day.
Hey, Boston? I can play Amanda on my guitar. "I wanna take you by surprise, and open up your eyes, Amanda..." I like that song.
Speaking of me not being alive for a while...ARGH I have classes in two weeks!

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'll probably finish off the HW2 part early this week, but I need to finish building the model so I can post pictures of that with the .pdo. It's almost done, but these HW2 models are much more difficult than HW models. So many folds!

Ok I simply can not get the Sigma extractor to work, it will only save all the files in the archive, and when it gets to the art directory it crashes because of a directory error. I've tried Spooky's .big extractor and it will not work for me either. Are there any other .big file extractors for hw2?

There's something tricky about it, but I can't remember how I did it. I just extracted the whole thing too, but I can't remember how I did it.

Just an FYI, but I'm probably going to finish the HW2 tutorial today. I've been sick for a while, and a new girlfiend has occupied a lot of my time. But its all good.

Thanks, I'm feeling better now, that's why I'm posting again. And the new girlfriend is great! ;D Anyway, the last page is up for the HW2 tutorial. Not much on it, but a couple of catches that might trip you up. Happy modeling.

when i tried ur method of modulating, it did'nt work. i would say to band select and then cut it out, create ur white surface, paste it back in and move it away and surface it.
