Hi, As i recently wrote in other thread i founded YessMasster's Gundam Models site (http://yessmasster.ovh.org). I also wrote it's temporary adress because i have a dillema about it. It's availavle at gundam.ovh.org Should YGM merge with YHPM? Merging would increase number of visitors (hopefully) and the community. On the other hand Gundams and Homeworld starships are two different things very loosely related, and I'm not sure if you'd like such mix. Moreso, the Gundams are not all about paper modelling, but there are also plastic Gundam models. If you want the sites to merge, could you also post your proposition for new name as YHPM would not be valid anymore Also i wonder if i should found new forums. Again, this place's structure is starship-oriented and i'm not sure if it's good to place Gundams here as well. We all gotta also remember that this forums is by no means mine, and I cannot make any changes here. The reason why i dodn't found new forums when i started YHPM is that i thought there'd be no point as you got used to this place. But now situation has changed and I want to hear your opinion about it. There will be more polls about organizational things after that but let's settle this thing first best regards, YessMasster

Just as an aside, there are really alot of other sites with gundam related topics and threads. I used to frequent the MAHQ site alot and posted some of my models there for a very short time. I am pretty sure Bandai USA has an official forum as well, but I have never been there.

well, for all i looked, i only found few with properly gathered models, and most of those sites linked to japanese download sites which i had problem navigating (LOL). Even less sites covered both gundam papercraft and gunpla at the same time.
That's what i'd like to create - i'd like to host papercraft, write/post articles and rewievs about gunpla etc.
Also, if you still have those models and would like them hosted, just send them, ok?

Personally, I think that you should keep the sites separate but make sure that the two are linked. I'd keep the link on your page to PS but on the gundam site host a forum for the discussion of those models.
Just some thoughts...

Do you mean new forums only for Gundams? or both sites?

I would make a new Gundam-only forum. I'd just leave the forum for your paper model's link to here. Hope this makes more sense

OK, here are few words from me: Everyone, please give your opinion or at least vote. The more people will vote the better. I have moved my Gundam site to new domain, namely gundam.ovh.org . Mind that it does not mean i made my decission just yet. I'm still waiting for much more opinions.

Hi Yessmasster! I'd go for sort of a merger. Say, one site (yours, that is) that starts with a personal page onto wich you might post personal experiences (like a blog) guestbook, pics, messages and stuff, and wich directs people to either your gundam or HW paper model site. You might keep these sites layout/appearance oriented to their subjects (like you've done so well with YHPM) if you like. - Just a suggestion -

Thanx. I will take all of the suggestions into consideration . Most of possible outcones of this situation will need site redesign anyways

Well as a Gundam fan, any additional resource can be good.
Have to confess I don't build the mecha in paper (yet) as I find them complicated enough in plastic.
And I also prefer the ships (space and surface) to the mecha.

And I also prefer the ships (space and surface) to the mecha. That's great, maybe you could provide me with some info on what exactly would you expect from such site. Also, if you build Gunplas, would you want to read articles on how to assemble each gunpla?

I personally have no vested interest in Gundam, but I think that by wedding the sites whilst keeping separate subcategories would not be counterproductive. It might also be possible to leave it more open-ended, allowing wider interests than exclusively HW and Gundam... The one hang-up I can see is the requirement for current members of this site to get new accounts in the new (-ish?) site.
Just my thoughts, and I currently abstain from posting a vote on the matter.
