Homeworld III

Hey Fellow posters

In other forums I've been reading where the chances of a new Homeworld III game are pretty slim. SO What, There's enought talent on the pages of this forum that we could come up with our own story line, create new ships even new races with which to do battle with. Im an engineer by trade and I been trained to always look for a slouition. So if they wont make a new version for use we'll create our own. So now all we need is several storie tellers a couple good designers, some great artist and BAM well bang out our onw version. So what do you all say are you for or against it. I've already started on several designs for some new ships. What we need to discuss is do we keeps the same styles for our new ship or do we skew a bit and come up with some radical new designs. Let's discusses this first.

well......it's hard to complete making a game for people who have other duties, but it ain't impossible. if course we would not be able to give our game Homeworld name, but we could make new universe by ourselves. That would indeed be cool to make a game and I would like to participate in process of creation

We would have to prepare for anything, though; just look at requiem war mod, these guys are working for few years now on it, and it does not look like work's being finished

though im not the greatest storyteller, i have been toying with the thought of a homweworld esque game with multiple factions. i would love to contribute ideas about ship design and ship styles^^. maybe convince my wife ( who is a good writer/storyteller) to help with a backplot.

You are right we'll have to give it a different name but whos to that we are just creating a fan fiction site for our views, stories and thought on what HWIII Could and should be about. Who know the developers of the game might like what we do and elect to use some of it, you never know. Thanks for your support. I am working on some line drawings of some new ship ideas and when I done I'll post them. Since this is a works in progress idea I invite you and anyone else to do the same. The only bad Idea ia the one you dont express.
