[glow=red,2,300]Sjeesh....[/glow] ... ugg... arghl... *gulp* He did a case modding with an Hiigy Assault Frig'!? ... metal body?!... (Uh, and us here are just stuck with paper. ) *POP* ...There goes my fantasy of doing a case modding with the hiigaran mothership as PC case... But still, he (or she?) did fantastic job! Although still in the making, the results are awesome! Even strung lights to it too! Man, I'm curious to what it will look like when finished! Gee, what beauty/beasty! Just look at the size of that thing ! Makes me wonder... Yoji, how the heck did you find those pics??

I forget how I found them, but I probably just bumbled across them during a random Google search. I'm not really into case mods anymore, so I'm guessing I was looking for something Homeworld-related.
And I can still see a Pride of Hiigara being done, but it'd have to be pretty big. From my experience with case mods, the motherboard and power supply will probably be the determining factors of the dimensions.

Building a motherboard, or power supply into the MS wouldn't be to troublesome, as I figured. I was planning -well fantasizing, actually- to build a big one anyway. The pride of hiigara would be a very difficult build though (ever checked the unfold?), I opted for the original (kushan) mothership, as it's a more practical build. (Or the taiidan 'toaster'?) One 'niche' thought I had was to use the main hangar door as CD/DVD tray cover! -Wanna insert a cd/dvd? *bzzzzt* and the hangar bay door opened up, heh-heh!- Well, I suppose it will never happen anyway. But it was one of my 'happy thaughts' for a while... up till now .

Thats Incredible! While some may have had that idea in mind in the future, its helpful that someone is blazing the trail if you will. Makes me think i can do it. I plan on watching this and seeing if the builder has any problems and avoid them myself. Thanks for sharing this its jaw dropping.

Here's some more When I was searching for some HW related (concept art) pictures on the net I came across this topic on a dutch model building website. A member build a progenitor dreadnaught merely from screen pics and 3d data from Inventor 8. www.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=85&t=10773Looks pretty impressive when finished. It reminded me of this topic, and thought I'd share it with ya. Too bad the original link to Sinnaker's project Fiirkan is obsolete. I'de have liked to see how it ended up to be.
