Anyone get and play Sins of a Solar Empire yet? Impressions?

Definately looks good for modders as well, since it has a built in mod manager. And definatly plays better than Empires at War.

Combat is still rather 2D from the limited engagements I've fought so far, but I like the ideas the game uses. Ships aren't too bad looking either.

No, i still didn't get a chance to play it. I havn't seem it in any store nor at internet shops of my country

I've played about 15 ish games at this point, pretty fun, especially if you've got a group of people to play with. Personally I play TEC but i play more of an economics game which works as long as you've got allies...

Yeah, it's pretty fun but everyone I know here (at school) has been pretty busy so we haven't played recently.

How about mods? I haven't seen too many yet, but I am looking forward to the Legend of Galactic Heroes mod being made. There was a good preview video up at Moddb for it as well.
