Hi, New to the board and paper modeling in general. I've built a couple small ships so far and decided to tackle the mothership. I'm doing pretty good with it, but have run into a snag. I cannot for the life of me figure out the bulkheads.
They look like they are used to join the sections of the ship together, but I cannot figure it out. I've been studying the pepakura file and just can't see what needs to be done with them...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. -Doug

the bulk heads?
is this the mothership you got at fruks site? if not, go there.
if so then your talking about the module faces. for beginers those arent very simple. you need to figure out whitch section they go on. the bottom has a certain module face and the middle has a certain module face. find out which ones go together by right clicking in pepakura and selecting the bottom option. i think its check coresponding surface. find the two that are closesed to each other and the rest it a puzzle.
with fruks mothership it had two trianguler module end faces at the bottom of the rescorce controler on the back.
Hope this helps ;D

Yup, that's the one I downloaded and have 3/4 way built. I figured the the one out for the top section, but what a pain in the rear it is. I'm going to give the rest of them a shot today....maybe.
One thig I did notice was the bottom engine part needs to be on it's own page and rotated.. I'm not using A4 paper and the tips printed short by about 1/2 inch. I found it after I had all three parts together.
Other than that, I'm really enjoying this build. Thanks for the help.. Doug

just hope u dont fade after this thread and the ms done Not planning on it.. I'm hooked on how a flat paper can become something so cool and these are the only kits of these ships. Besides,I just made my wife buy some scrapbooking tools for me so that she can have hers back. ;D The rotary paper creaser is the best thing I've seen so far. I now have ths beast sitting on my desk awaiting some final parts and touch ups.. this thing is HUGE!!

You guys don't know about these? You gotta go to a scrapbooking store for paper tools. Here's what the wife bought me: 45mm Scoring blade.....it makes fold lines. 45mm Rotary cutter...... a round exacto blade
