it looks like a giant ion array frig, w/ a siege cannon on the middle and more of that things which open/close

those things that open and close are the arrays. not only do they act as solar pannels (explaining why they dont fire if there closed) but they accelerate the beam making it drive HARD into the target like a giant lazer lance.

  those things that flower out are the arrays. the cruiser (i think) has 6 of them (3 on each side) thats why it looks like a flower. |
