Stormeagle So far as I am aware "Deep Exploration" is just another name for the "3D Explorer" program My old version was a demo and timed out after about 30 days. When i go to the site now and try to find a demo, it goes straight to a "GIMME MONEY, LOTS OF MONEY" sort of link. If you know of a link to a demo version I'd be grateful if you would post it. Thanks There must be a difference and I think that it's just that 3Dexplorer is an older program. Anyway, if you send me your email address I 'll send you the one I have. it's about 1.85 mb, and it's free.

I am trying to make a steamrunner model from scratch. It is not going to be an accurate model, but it is the best that I can come up with. Here are two pictures of the steamrunner prototype I am working on.

Thanks. I tried unfolding a 3d model, but it didn't turn out very good, so I decided to try hand drawn model.

Yeah, those are high-poly meshes, and that is the reason why they didn't turn out good in Pepakura... There's not much you can do about it, but on the other hand, if you own some 3D Star Trek games maybe you can extract meshes from them? Oh and a OT question: what camera yre you using? I really like that shadowed date and time on the images...

yeah, we need simple meshes to make papermodels, u can do a high poly one if u dun mind using 3 tons of paper and half of ur life

I have a HP Photosmart M305 camera.
I have the game Star Trek Armanda, but I don't know how to extract anything from it.

im not talking about bigs, different games uses its own format, homeworld uses .big, hl2 uses .gcf, and the list goes on, try finding a file wich may contains the mesh u want

I found alot of TGA files in the game directory. Could that be it? If so how would I open a TGA file?
