yes something does happen. if 2 people want to play online and there using the same key the second person cant play. but thats not the issue.
the issue is that its ILLEGAL. they give you the code so you cant do sertain things. me or anyone else giving you our code is an infraction of the law and we could be prosecuted for the the illegal distribution of the software and you for the pirating of the game.

Yeeah. There's that little rule that Ace/Enterprise made (Not me.) about no warez.

I'd think that would only apply to kazza and E-Mule. but what you do with your computer is your buisness and we dont want to know about it...
unless its paper starships related ;D

Technically, warez is the acquiring of programs that you (or maybe a friend, if it's a gift) haven't paid for and that should have been paid for. I think. So that includes sharing CD keys.
Y'know, you can get Homeworld for about 8 American dollars. If you're in America, well, there it is, but if you're somewhere else, then it's the equivalent amount maybe plus import if it's not in your country for some reason. *shrug*

8 dollars US?
Thats about £4.50 in real money. The price of two beers at the local pub. Or one if you are into speciality imports.....
costs more to park in town to do my weeks shopping

Excuse me, Tony? Real money? But yeah, go online and order Homeworld again or go to a local store if you feel like it...otherwise, if you want to do more modeling, I have my old hard drive back (YES!) and I'll send you what files you want.

that and a majority of the good models come from mods. the only down side is that the vast majority of the mod meshes anre messed up

then do those. I know of a site that has almost ever single mod available for free with no subscription.
