Well, Glove, I don't Play GTA to beat the game, but to do whatever I want, so I stop doing missions when all zones are opened.
One of the strong points of JK2JO is it's plot, a very good plot in the star wars universe, which is not common. However, I allways get stuck in all games, this is another curse.
I think I can't advice you much, as I thend to not play campaign mode in any games but skirmish mode. I have never been able to beat any campaign of AoEII Tce but I allways win my lan matches (I know someone with four computers in LAN) agaisnt my friends.
Hey, PoP2 is cool as you said! I think you can enjoy it, so if you haven't tried it, I suggest you to give it a try
I did and enjoyed it too, although finding the way jumping and running by the walls is far too hard for me.
I dont' play any console games, as the only console I own is a 14 year old Game Gear -and it's still working-

yeah iv completed PoP2 already, got all weapons, even the special ones, just missed like 6 of the artwork chests, the only main flaw in my opinion is the MASSIVE number of glitches, i found like 4 that wouldnt let me progress in the game, but i found my way around all of them
btw, at least u did played HW series campaing dont u ??
oh, and play GTAVC missions... they rock, and a lil easter egg for ya: close to the Malibu, theres a big hotel w/ a massive number of windows, get an heli and be starring at that building when the clock reaches midnight
