And i hope its not a foolish one, but is it possible to get both the progenitor Dreadnaughts in model for? the hiigaran retrieved and the vayger retrieved ones? i would love to build those if anyone is able to produce the plans for them?

there is no difference between the two. someone made one once but E took it down because there was no instructions.

nope, no difference. yea, someone could make plans but if i'm to do it I need a mesh and textures.

does anyone have any way to extract them? i've been trying all evening, but i cant get this thing to work, i dunno if its me, my pc or the program thats going wrong!

Search Google for .big extraction programs. One of them is bound to work on HW2 files...I think I just tried all of them until one worked.

thats the thing, i cant seem to find the .hod files in the homeworld directory :S i dunno if im being dunb or not, but i just cant find them

I'm not good with HW2. Ask Fructose what extracting those is like, because I'm strictly HW and Cata.
