Nausicaa ships

Hi there. I'm new to these forums, but not new to paper modelling (though I've never created my own, I have built several from a company I'm not sure I can name on these forums, though a search of my avatar name will quickly take you there, even showing pics of my builds in the gallery).
My request is for ships from the anime Nausicaa, though I cannot provide all of the pertinent requested info, I will do my best.

Name: Valley of the Wind Gunship, Pejitei Gunship, Maeve, or the Torumekian Brigs, Torumekian Corvette, Dorok Monitor
Origin: Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind anime (also known as Warriors of the Wind, though it was horribly butchered before it was released) or manga.
Pictures: umm, I will see what I can do
Mesh: to my knowledge, no 3D computer model has been made of these ships, so I may be asking for the impossible here (though they are currently working on a life sized, working Mehve in Japan).
Preferences: to the best of my knowledge, the textures for these ships are very simple basic colors and designs, would be very easy to pull off, there are no variations in color design, only real difference has been the insignia on the ships (if any).

I am going out on a limb here asking for something so vague, but it is one thing I have always wanted in my collections. In time I hope to have the programs, and the ability (and practice) to be able to design my own paper foldup models, but that is something that will have to come in it's own time. Thanks for taking the time to consider this request, again, I will see what I can do for pics.

P.S. what is the program required to open or view these paper models, as I have attempted to open one to see how they came out, and I currently don't own the proper codec or file to open these models.

well, the lack of meshes make the work hard... You could help us finding some mods about the show or something. If there is really NO meshes, then someone will have to make them, and thats not my department, I just do the modeling.

Ok, I went hunting for meshes, not even beginning to understand what I was looking for, and I found one of the Gunship from the Valley of wind. Unfortuneatly it's a work in progress, and doesn't look like it will be finished any time soon. Thanx for the response The Glove, I knew it was a longshot, but I thought I'd give it a try (would have had better luck if I tried for the Last Exile ships I'm sure as all of them are full CG 3D models from the animated movie). Looks like I will just have to figure out how to do this stuff on my own, though that will be a long time in coming, thanx again.

I will see what I can do about getting some pics, however, even though the show is very popular, and has a surprisingly huge fanbase (almost as many as LOTR, StarWars, or StarTrek, the manga has even been compared to LOTR in scope, and quality of storyline and plot), there are very few pics of the ships themselves (more of the characters from the manga and anime, and very few of them were animated in the movie (they had to reduce the storyline of four manga's into the equivalent of one to make it into a two hour movie). There are many angles of the ships themselves in the manga (eneogh that I have considered doing a mesh of them myself, when I learn how), but the only ones that have been done up in CG by fans are oddly altered, and wouldn't reflect the style that was designed by the original artist. I am not sure how to put an image up on the site to show you the few I can either, so unless I can figure out how, or can put in some scans of pics from my own copies of the manga's (I do own the movie, but don't have the programs nescessary to put stills of the ships on my computer), then I might as well let this idea rest for now. I'm not sure if the rules from this forum will allow me to put up links to the pics I have found, so I won't put them in here.
