ISD Request

Hello, I have been referring to this site and building the models for awhile now. I thank all of those who have contributed models and tutorials. Although, I am now looking to build an Imperial Star Destroyer of the Star Wars fame and I have not had much success in searching for a decent, and free, model. Any help would be appreciated in advance, I thank you for your time,

Hi! welcome to the community!
And I'm sorry if it is too quiet, the creation of paper models has slowed down lately.

I built an imperator II star destroyer a long time ago. It was a very easy model, very simple, perfect for begginers -so you might find it too easy-

However, the site I found it on has vanished from the net. I don't know if I have it still on my hard drive. I can look for it if you want.

in this link you can find pics of some of my models -I think my custimized b5 starfury (the yewell of the fleet :-P) is not included, along some of my newest models- including the imperator.

Oh, no worries, as long as there is something to build, it's fine by me if it's quiet. Hmmm, nicely done with the Imperator. Why the Rebel insignia though?

Anyway, yes, I would appreciate it if you found a copy of materials to build an Imperator, no worries on instructions, I usually use concept art and pictures to build most of my models. Thank you for the reply, I am trying to get an ISD built up for a friend, a very late Christmas present so-to-say. Thanks again for the help,

i have ISD plans hanging around here... idk which ship(isd2, isd, etc...) or whether it has the rebel or imp insig on it, but its here... ill email it to the address in your prof. can you open .zip files? thats what it is

The rebel insignia is there because that is the Lukasyanka(sp?), a captured SSD.

this cannot be. The Lusankya (correct spelling for you, the glove) was a SSD, as you say. It was even confused with the Executor SSD. There is no way you can confuse a SD with an SSD.

I glued the new republic logo because I turned my imperator star destroyer into an early new republic destroyer, those ships captured to the empire and retrofited for a-wings, x-wings, b-wings and y-wings ;D

The new shìps of the alliance would come later.

But in short, the new republic logo was added by me, it was not a part of the model.

just like I added my badge to the vaygr battlecruiser

If you have any problems with arlia101's model, just ask and I will give you the one I used. Ok?

Well It's strange that that page disappeared, there're a lot of great models, sandcrawler was the last update I saw.


And sorry, I don't have it either


you can dl mesh from www.xwaupgrade.com and fit it into a paper. Maybe..., sometime..., somewhere... I'll do it.

btw, does anyone have/know a way to convert from star trek armada's .sod to another format(3ds, cob, obj, ...)?

*there are a couple of isd and ssd meshes in the star wars conversion to that*
