The Vaygr supercarrier - Agamemnon - looks VERY cool but is there a mesh in the HW2 game to build it? I seem to recall that someone said these were extractable but were distorted.

Yeah, it's there, and yes, it's more or less a shipwreck, all burnt and some parts loose and twisted, rendered a pic of the model: BigRed

i've extracted the BigRed model to inspect; it has alot of small parts hanging around it, but the hull itself looks mostly intact. a bit of modifying either in the 3d model or by hand on the final product could get the shape right. as for the colors, it looks mendable in paintshop or something... i'll take a look tomorrow or so, she'd make a great model to hang from the ceiling, even the wreck version. unfortunately it looks as if it would need massive inside bracings - bulkheads or something - to save it from the same fate as this poor tanker

By the way, yeah, the hulk is mostly intact, if we got a skilled artist to hex the mesh a little bit, it could be pretty possible.

it seems to be missing many of the sections seen in the concept art; the turret, the bridge(s), the yellow superstructure covering the front hangar.. also, the name of the mesh isn't AGAMEMNON as in the art; it seems to read "WE SHOOK ALL HOPE". fascinating, perhaps it was intended to be from the progenitor era instead; an enemy megalith wreck?

::just correcting myself' the yellow pieces look like they could be construction modules; that would explain why they're absent in the mesh. now if they were only in the module files...

Hehe, I hardly think they've gone through such lengths for a mere derelict that floats around doing nothing. I'm not entirely sure, I've just read this somewhere, you can supposedly find it in the single-player campaign on the mission where you're supposed to rescue capt. Soban from the Vaygr Prison Station... remember something vaguely about that you won't be able to spot it from in-game, it's supposedly outside the mission area, so you'd need to open the mission in a mission-editor to see it... but that makes no sense to me, why even have it there then?!... it could all be a hoax for all I know. :\

It's on the mission where you first acquire the dreadnought, and yeah, it's in the game field, no hacking/mission editing bull.

If it's possible, can anyone send me the textures in a format I can edit in Photoshop? I can't really figure out how to extract anything, so I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me with that. Who knows, maybe I could even do something useful.
Has any progress been made at all in fixing it up, by the way?

Hello guys I think I could help on editing the meshe to complete the missing parts. I'm a good 3d modeler and I think the basic shape wouldn't be a big problem. I can't do much about the textures, I'm not that skilled with photoshop. The 3D model which this papermodel came from was created by me from scratch from the game Mechawarrior 4, from a side view and a few other views.
