this is my first post and sorry if i missed it some where but are there any models out there from the game x3 reunion
if not im willing to give it a go im just unsure how to go about it im curintly in the forums at egosoft working on getting the ship models out of the game
if anyone knows what im talking about and wants to help please let me know.
all info i gather will be shared

But the ships of the games X2 and X3 convertible are? Does the people ask for the models of a certain game a lot but not always it is possible to convert the meshes in formats that can be edited and done unfold? I have interest, but I don't have time to research if tools exist to extract and to convert the models 3D in formats that can be edited. If it gets or the models converted for 3ds or Obj with the textures I can help...

heres what i was able to vome up with so far
there are programs and addon's to extract the ships
i have been able to get them out of the game and into gmax and 3ds max and then over too pepakura.
textures are a bit tricky but im working on it.
the ships may need a little tweeking. these ships are not just painted box's i can tell you that much
working on a paper build of atlantis as well. papertoys has one going now too and his is coming along real nice
once this semester is over i hope to have some free time to do some more work on these two projects
