EUish??? explain that please.
Those little thingies are details from the ends of the barrels. Have You seen the HW2 model (downloaded the HW2 minimod)? There You can see where they belong. Actually the rotating it around in HW2 is the best help for building it...

EU stands for Expanded Universe, like the Star Wars books or the Halo books, I didnt read any of them, but EU has a tendency to overpower stuff, like Yoda being able to crash a Deathstar with the force, or Master Chief being able to run at 50mph and deflecting missles with his bare hands, things never done in their respective movies/games.
No offense or anything, but that corresponds just as the Vanaar-Jet being able to cut a battlecruiser in half with a single beam and badly damaging the escaping destoyers, thing not even Sajuuk is capable of doing (well, it could take out the three ships, but they could escape before getting crushed)

Well, the Vanaar IS expanded universe despite the fact that not Relic designed it:-)
Other than that, it was always some kind of "superweapon ship". You'll never see massed attacks of Vanaar-Jets, as only some of them exist. Plus, well, in-game it isn't capable of doing this, try it out.
For the backstory, i just wanted to write some words about the ship, and not going into further details. But consider that first scenario as a precisely planned "intimidation" attack planned by both the Imperial and Republican faction...
BTW: destroyers in stock HW2 are not even as durable against BC's as HW1's frigates... of course in Requiem War this will change, as i always hated loosing every ship in only some seconds.

True, ships were destroyed way too quick in HW2.
What are those dark matter beams look like in Requiem War? And where are you going to put it in there... Along with the Taiidan Mothership in Hiigara?
And btw, neither the Halo or Star Wars books where written by Bungie/Lucas Arts, they were made by fans and then turned into canon because they could make money... Thats the origin of all the differences...

Well i guess i won't have the luck to be able to make money with my starship designs. That would be too good... starships are my life, and when i could make money with them, then nothing would disrupt my time and i could focus all my powers on creating ships...
The Vanaar won't be in Requiem War, or when yes, then only as a curiosity, and wont be part of the SP campaign. But i thought about making the 3 all black Qwaar-Jets at the very end a bit uprated versions of the original (all turrets firing ion beams... yummy + more HP), so they would be rather hard to beat.

i forgot to mention, the test release is in scale with the Qwaar-Jet.

Awsome design. Really impressive. Glad it's come out so well for the amount of time and effort you've put into it.

Whats wrong with the Naar Meh?
Granted the images at Relic would look better in the standard yellow/red scheme but still a pretty decent design.
