engine because some fold lines are black in black you need to open the pdo on the comp and change the foldline colour from black to white to see exactly where to cut. pics deleted on 16.03.2005 completed pic A.I.: www.ericksmodels.com/paper/models/higdest-ai.pdf at the homepage of fructose: www.ericksmodels.com/paper/models/models.htmlextra details. i use pepakura to modify and move parts to one sheet that i need. clue the pices on onto 3mm cardboard. for the torpedo tubes y have to do build a schablon? first. the right schablon? is the part i will use. TIP: yesterday i went back to the copy shop to print the extra sheet and the kushan motership. it is very important to change the default settings in pepakura for the fold lines to 0,25!! you will get very thin lines that give the model a much better look. i wish i know this before!

Also, another tip: Click Configuration -> Line Type Configuration, when a dialog box opens, find the field that says: "Angle that is considered to be near the Surface" and enter a number you wish, but it has to be between 90 and 180... It's a very nice way to remove those ugly fold lines... I usually use 140-160...

those engines are so perfect... and btw, what that "Angle that is considered to be near the Surface" command actually does ? It is used to determine fold angle, take a look at Enterprise-E's models and you'll get the idea what I'm talking about... It is used to remove many fold lines that really don't need to be drawn on the model, because they will be folded with the process of building a model...

here an exampel of doing extra details. next step is to finish the ship! still have to build 3 turrets, the torpedo tubes and 3 turret plates. because the turrets are very difficult (for me) to build, i am not shure when the final pics comes to the board. the side parts are clued on comicbaggerboard 1,5 mm pics deleted on 16.03.2005 completed pic A.I.: www.ericksmodels.com/paper/models/higdest-ai.pdf at the homepage of fructose: www.ericksmodels.com/paper/models/models.htmlturret plates are clued on 2 baggerboards so you have 3mm each plate. grrrr, need another extra print to build all turret plates. dont forget to colour all edges wt the right colour. .............. after finish the ship i will sort all the pics for an downloadeble pic. The turrets yes. I have commited myself to building those first. They are really hard. I increased the size to 120% for the whole model because of those turrets.
I will say that your turret risers have too many layers, there is only one gray between the turret and the deck.
