Well, lets just say it's not coming along as smoothly as anticipated, but I guess that was to expect since I don't have much experience in this.
I've done some quick'n dirty unfolds on everything on the model, so that they should in theory all be foldable(but not without fret). But I'm currently focusing all my time(which could be more) on the "main-body", if you remember my pic from the other thread, and I've come to some insight...
I printed out and did a test-fold of the Body yesterday, and I tried to complete it as fast as I could, took about an hour and a half. But during that time I had two or three "close encounters" with rage(nothing happened, but I felt it boiling underneath), and I'm usually a Very calm and collected individual - guess the fact that it was late at night and I was low on food could have had something to do with it as well - but I think those irritating moments told me that the unfold was faulty, at best... so the little insight would be that if I can complete a model, while doing it as fast as I can, without major irritation; that would mean it's a quite good unfold.
This is the unfold that I printed out and which momentarily had me boiling with anger: Screenie1
was while adding the B-C1-part that I was having the most trouble, might have been better if I added it before B-B1, but I'm not sure.
The assembled piece, a little bent, but in one piece, was a speed-build after all. Note: printed in lowest quality possible.
This is how it looks today: Screenie2
I'll rework it a little bit more before trying another test-printout, I'll probably not have those thin white parts separate, easier with one side of them attached to a larger piece I reckon.
