holding out? never lol... almost speeding through stuff, that'd be more like it; well, example at least - started my mothership project back in november 2005; just released the completed thing about a month ago.. that's with schoolwork and other projects, and waiting while i could build it myself (time, ink, paper, etc). I felt the same way; if people get antsy, they'll usually let the thread age for a while, just check back yourself to update on progress if you decide to take a leave.
so dont worry about holding out..plenty of good stuff coming from just watching the beta builds; again, watch how long auris takes to put out a complete AI set (no offense meant auris; just using an example).
it all looks good, conand. keep up the nice work.

Well, I think I'm pretty much done with the pdo, I'm gonna do a test-build from scratch to confirm everything is buildable, starting this weekend. Dunno when it'll be done, but I'll try to post some images as thing progress.

Sure, I'll mail it to ya.
... And if anyone else wants it they can pm me with their email as well... but remember, then I expect you to give me some kind of feedback, and also, do not distribute the model as it is considered incomplete at the moment, thank you. -_-

looks fairly self-explanatory, and you helped alot with the step-by-step photos. Hope to have it printed tomorrow. just a first thought... for my own models, when i make the extra details i don't usually create a back face for them; i found it makes them so high they look inaccurate, and simplifies it in general when you have to add a detail across a module break; just a personal thing, i'll see how these come out. hope to have a step-by-step of any trouble i get. looks good for now.

Yeah, I was a little doubtful about adding a back face to them as well, but done is done... but no biggie, those who have noticed that this causes problems for them will hopefully just cut the back face off. If the do not now of this, they are probably not all that serious about paper modeling, and the minute difference it makes won't matter to them.

Damn, did a launcher just now, and it was dead simple to put together, as I predicted! Makes me so happy when things work out as they should. ^_^ ... and here comes the photos: Took some preliminary ai-photos as well, what do you think: AI-Pictures ;D

What do you think about my html-AI? ;D Not much contents in there yet, but the Launcher-pics are in there at least, and soon pics of the body as well... I guess the con with this is that it ain't all that portable unless you have a laptop, but do you really print out the AI(in case of pdf or jpg)? I don't, but that might be because I have the computer at turning-point from the table I build my models at.

Hey, what do you know, it's fairly easy to build. I'm done with the modules now, no details yet, but I think I'll skip that part for now, I'm fairly certain they assemble correctly. I'll just focus on getting the A.I done and the model ready for sharing.

Indeed, looks like an entire piece, almost no lines at all.

Thanks. About the lines, they are there, trust me. Although, the seams between the modules were pretty smooth, you almost only notice the one for the engine, and that one will later on have a rather large piece of detail overlapping it on both sides.
