Model Beta Tester

I need someone to test out a model I made while taking a break from the Beast Mothership. I created the Infected Bentusi Tradeship from the mod Rebirth, but I think it has serious flaws. I may not have put it together exactly right, as I tend to get frustrated with building models. It's fairly easy, except the inside of the tradeship (the glowy lights and such) seems to not connect to the actual sides of the ship.

Could someone else try building this thing and see if you can work out a solution? The tradeship will not cooperate in Pepakura; if no one can figure this out, I'll have to go into Metasequoia and see what I can do. But for now, I need to finish the Mothership; the Tradeship was just a side project that I don't want to put more effort into at the moment.

Frankly, this requires someone with a decent amount of time to spend on a model that may not even look good. Also, you'll have to waste about 18 pages of paper.

Anyone up for it? If your email is hidden, post it; otherwise, state that you want the model and I'll email it to you.

Lucky dog, Raven...my classes just started again. Augh, they're stealing our summer a week per year...it just keeps getting shorter and shorter and shorter.

But ah, yeah, I'll send it to both of you. See if you can figure out what I didn't do, because I assembled the outside and THEN tried to connect the inside. Couldn't get my fingers in there to do anything >< I'm nowhere near dextrous with these things.

Sounds like me. I don't know how some of you put together some of these tiny, tiny models. The few I have designed have been oversized, and if I build from a PDO I always use Pepakura to scale them up. The texture detail suffers a bit for it, but at least I can get my fingers in them to glue them.

Ah...that tradeship is about as big as my Beast MS and it's STILL annoying to glue because there's only about 1 inch of space between the inner and outer hulls. I can't even imagine a smaller version.
