Hi there friends!
I'm currently building a model of the vaygr lasercorvette that I created/unfolded myself (unfold derived from my experiences with the minelayer corvette). Searching for more info of this corvette I found a few pictures on the Homeworld Shipyards site of an early game version of this ship. This got me thinking about coloring the laser corvette in the same colors (red/white)...
But from there on, I started converting the model & textures towards something that resembled the early version a bit more.
It has been quite a time consuming job for me, especially as I have little to no experience with Photoshop, textures and stuff. But here's what I have, so far:
It should have some antenna's added, and I know the left laser pod & sponson aren't quite the way the early version had them (on the other hand; I barely have a clue what they did look like). But that way I would have to create new meshes & textures, and/or edit the current ones, which is way beyond my 3D creating capabilities!
I hope there are some people out there that like it, like I do. I'll proceed with the model as soon as I have time to spare...
