does anyone know how i could convert models in SOD format (star trek armada) to something useable for paper models, i.e. OBJ? i have a good collection of meshes from ST:A but no way to start the convertion process; deep/3d ex doesn't open them. ideas?

my idea is sdk. check the star trek armada forums for some modelling tools.
google says sth about Milkshape 3d, maybe that can come in handy.

The file SOD can be imported through the software milkshape with the installed appropriate plugin, it exists however only a problem this plugin only works with the original files of the game.
Other edition tools and export developed by fans don't work well in the windows XP, the solution if the model doesn't go official it is to use an import and export Armada plugin for the 3D studio...
