I am really new at this and i really need help!!! What paper should i use? should i print on cardstock? that makes the colors faded. should i print on regular paper and use cardstock for support? what glue should i use? does liquid Elmer's work? or should I use clear gluesticks? Should I use an exacto blade or just scissors? I will greatly appreciate it if you help me, thanks!

It's best to use 160g/cm^2 paper, plus some stiffer paper to support it (glueing faces at the "back side"),
Glue? Not sure there, i use ordinary technical white glue in tube and am quite fond of it, i use toothpick to put glue on paper
As for blade, it's best to have both scissors and scalpel-like blade, i use scissors for cutting out big faces, and scalpel for details.
Hope that helps

i'd have to look up the exact value, but i primarily use "coverstock"... it holds up decently for almost everything i've tried. and a note on glue... superglue is an amazing medium to work with, especially the "brush on" kind... of course there's the problem that it dries within seconds. its excellent for detail parts, but if you're worried you might not quite get the alignment correct, i'd say stick to the regular stuff.
