Nope. At least I hope not! I guess like a lot of the former "regulars" I lurk a lot but rarely post there days as I just have so little time. The reduced number of new models appearing means the enthusiasm is waning. But Hot4Damart just added some new stuff to the Independence War range (brilliant Bastille class Destroyer) and the Starship Modeler's board keeps flagging up all sorts of new paper models on various sites across the globe. Mike Haggard is still adding to his modular ships range www.albionrising.com/No doubt Jan will add to his Aliens model range over time and I keep on hoping that Diego will grace us with an Omega Class Destroyer for the B5 models (SUBTLE HINT DIEGO!!!!!!!!!!) And while you are at it A WARLOCK CLASS!!!!!!! Ent E boosted peoples attention with the brilliant Vanaar Jet a few months back (still have to build that - maybe over Xmas) and lets hope that once Fructose sorts out juggling life with a new addition to the family he can resume his unfolding mastery (after all there is a new generation to pass his skills on to). So don't write things off yet. Keep the faith!

In the ideal situation, these paper sites would merge into one or two uber-sites that had a giant database. At least, that's my idea of the best situation. That way, we'd have a few massive databases and they would draw more attention.

As you see, I am still here... sometimes... lurking... You know, posting offtopic posts has never been one of my favourite actions, so I hadn't many things to do here..... now that it's all so quiet...
And who doesn't? my personal sentence is still "will someone make a paper whitestar for me?", but I think I touched heaven with my Aurora Class Starfury... so detailed... so heavy... so big... And man, it's customizable!

I agree with Glove. We need advertising. Like America, the Internet runs on advertising. (Yes, that was a deliberate crack at American economics.)

PaperStarships started on Relic Forums... so long ago...i created it for some 4-5 HW models heh...
You'd not have guessed: i originally registered on Relic forums because the possibility of HW paper models brought my attention there. This was long before my time as a HW2 modder...
Oh, and im lurking here quite a lot, even posting here and there. About the site: i have 2 StarWars models that wait to be uploaded, beside that i dont get a huge influx of new models. Come on, make models! :-P (that goes for me too, i'd have to make AI's for the Vanaar then it could be uploaded too.
Also, i have some future plans for the site, i'd like to totally "refit" it. PHP engine, new little features, separate section for modeling articles (TonyG's excellent tutorials and writings could all go there...) The problem is just that im sooo busy with so many projects...

If I weren't doing A) college applications, B) AP Art (12 pieces due by December, spaz!), C) other schoolwork, D) stupid Economics project, and E) actually leaving my house (it's surprising that I can sometimes), then I could.
I'll try to do some during Winter Break. Seriously, I will.
