I have an idea...

I was looking at all these ships and was thinking, "Yeah, they make great models, but what else could I do with them?" Being me, I thought of useing them in photos, as toys (In a gentle way ), and as a game! That's right, a game. I need to make rules and other things for a game. There are the minis, here are the players, and all I need is a ruler, chart system, black felt, and some dice and I have the makeings of a game! This should actually be a group project here. ;D

From the sound of it you sound like you want some sort of space combat game, no? By your inclusion of a ruler, I assume that movement will be mesured in inches(or centimeters, or whatever). If you do that, then you run into a rather simple problem: Barely any of these models are to scale with eachother. I don't know if you'd care, just something I thought I'd bring up.

There are actually a good number of space combat games, as stated before, it does boil down to scale, and if you find the right game base to use. I used to play Renegade Legion Leviathan, which simulated combat between huge capital ships in a very slow fashion, much like a giant ballet, that may not be what you are looking for, since that lead to some really long games.

Someone here tried to decrease the difficulty of folding (presumably by decreasing the number of polygons) so that one could fold a whole lot of little ships for a game. Relic Boards, long ago, also tried to come up with a game. I'm not sure anyone actually finished one...
