Well not quite as drastic as that but my new job is really kicking off. I'm moving cities - work in Leeds and living in Sheffield - and its going to take a fair while to get set up with PC and everything in Sheffield. The employer won't allow access to unauthorsised web sites (guess where Paperstarships gets classified...) so it'll be weekends only for a while and I'll probably be gone for a few weekends. So. Forgive the silence. I'll be getting a new PC. I'll probably be asking for news on what new models have been posted recently. In the immortal words of General Macarthur - I shall return...... later dudes  |

Flying visit only! Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm not gone just - away for a while.... Actually I can LOOK at the site from my office PC but can't post. Very frustrating. Like being struck dumb... Anyhow, plans are underway to get a new PC at new home address. This piece of junk now resides at the folks' home. Get this. On order. PC with 400.......I pause for dramatic effect....yep 400 GIGABYTE harddrive. And a 1064 meg DDR RAM. 500plus ATI Radion Graphics and some doohicky called HTI - apparently its hell on jets for multi tasking. Plus DVD recording and a TV function. Should have that in oh about 4 weeks...... Snag. New address doesn't have broadband access  Anyway quick trop "home" to pick up my tools, cutting board and a stack of printed parts so at least I can do some building in the evenings. And maybe - just maybe - in a few weeks get back to the blasted Higgy gunship I've been working on. Later |

Well I'm back for another quick visit.
The new hi tech PC is STILL on order - three delivery dates missed so far!!!!
Knowing my luck when it does turn up it will have Windows Service Pack 2 preinstalled - in which case I'm really stuffed!!!
Hope to be back on a more regular basis soon......
