And from what little I saw of it, the performance was blisteringly fast and the graphics on X2 The Threat were amazing! Shame the damn thing doesn't work  |

geez glove, my cpu isn't THAT great... a gig of ram is nothing....most people I kno laugh at me for only having that much, they have 2-4 gigs. btw, my cpu (the one I typed the specs for) cost $1200. not much.

but whatever u do NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER buy from computer companies. I have a tiny little shop in town, with no emplyees, just two people who own it and run it. And I go there, tell them what I want in the pc, choose a case, bargain the price. If u really want a cheep cpu, get what I got, and get it shiped to u. (wats shipping? $100 max.? not much) Here are the prices I got for my computer specs from other companies: (all in US dollars)
Alienware: 3000 (EXPENSIVE!)
Dell: 2000 (HORRIBLE customer service)
Compaq: 1800 (best offer from companies)

You think compaq is good? I've had problems with all Compaqs I've had minus my current laptop. This Pavilion mx70 I have has SO many problems. And this is my second unit. Tech Support killed my first one...I had problems, called them, and then it all got worse. I'm not a Compaq fan, but their computers ARE cheaper sometimes, hence why I bought Compaq as my new laptop. Grr. Someday I'll regret it.

One of these days I'll get this new PC sorted and registered on the site. Yup its me again. So far the PC is working but the site is saying my selection of username and password is invalid.....
Anyway.
Nerath. I'm been running a medium spec Compaq presario laptop with an Athalon chip for a couple of years with no problems. Then again, I've no experiance with Compaq machines other than laptops so maybe its theirmain machines.
