The Independence War Paper model "Saltlake Base" is now completed with Assembly Instructions, and a bonus in-scale pair of PatComs models to dock with it, as part of the download. It sould be available from our site by Wed or Thur Dec 22 or 23, 2004 (a little Christmas present).
This model is huge, a whopping 127 Cm, or 50 inches long, requiring some kind of spine support, like a piece of 1/4 inch wood dowel. It looks great suspended from my ceiling, and doesn't sag at all if you place the threads at the right points.
There are nine different pages (two of which need to be printed off a few times) for a total of 13 sheets of card plus three of instructions to be printed on regular paper.
Enjoy, have fun, and Merry Christmas, all. Oh, and happy new year, too.

Auris, if you want to make more photo assembly instructions for the Independence War models, go to the website and download the other models already available and go for it. I know the PatCom is a little complicated for some, and some nice photo A.I.'s would be much appreciated. Same goes for the Navy C-fighter model.
Any assembly tips you want to make, convert to pdf and send them to Stephen Robertson and he'll post them at the site (see first post in this thread for the url).

Its accurate to the original game model - which wasn't massively detailed. Bear in mind that Salt Lake Base was basicaly a set dressing from which the dreadnaught corvette launched.
Haven't built it yet but have printed the parts out for both the station and in scale Patcoms. Maybe get a chance to build before I start back at work in january...
