Thanks for the invitation, Raven. Actually, I already am a member of the forum. I just don't post all that often, and I don't formally log in when I can just post as a guest (I don't care about things like post counts). I only drop by once in awhile, and when I do I often get frustrated by your number one spammer and thread hijacker, so I just leave again rather than do any flaming (oops this is almost starting to sound like flaming, isn't it;) 'nuf said.
I enjoy the posts of most of the members of this forum, and find the information useful and informative for the most part. I just get sick of having to wade through pages and pages of useless one-liner opinion posts that contribute nothing but noise, so I move on to other forums that are less of a waste of my time.

i asked Hot cause youve been a bit more active latly then usual and dident know you were already a member. I dont care much about post counts and decided to stay guest myself until i couldent post in the main editing forum and starship requests.

Like I said, Raven, I appreciate the thought and the sentiment. No worries, I'll keep checking in here from time to time, lurking and occasionally posting news updates. It just won't be all that frequent. I was just soap-boxing there a little, so if I started sounding ranty, I apologize (but not at all in the manner that was inaccurately cited above...at least the subject of my complaints correctly recognizes himself as the offender). I am, and will remain more active in other forums like starshipmodeller and the independence war forums, where spamming is tightly policed and discussions can be more information-content oriented.

I'm going to attempt to slow down the spamming, Darmat. I'm very sorry that you don't see our forums in a good light. Please, consider coming back sometime as a more active member, perhaps when we clean up this place.
