So, here's a Hiigaran Battlecruiser I made several months back. It's made completely out of card stock and turned out a bit larger than I expected. I'm pretty sure it's in scale with my carrier and tanker... [ top view] [ underside] [ engines] |

The website's a little gaudy, but the Wipeout models are pretty nice and usually just a page or two. Just be warned that the construction is a little odd compared to the Homeworld models (i.e. pieces gluing back-to-back) [ link] |

Gee, Yoji! How do you come up with this fun stuff?! Thanks for the link, though. I've viewed that site a few times before, but never noticed those WipeOut models. Nice! I got them all, just great for some fun time with my sisters son, when he's over. And for myself too, of course... I'd say these models would fit right in. Although technicaly they are no starships, they aren't far from it. Say Auris; did you mean something like this?:   -You'd better try... before you die!- Heh-heh! Just got the idea, and had to try it out! |

I think someone recently suggested the idea of a Tron papercraft that wasn't a Lightcycle. Since I couldn't find one on SketchUp's 3D warehouse, I've started work on Sark's command carrier. At least, I've tried as well as I could from some less-than-ideal reference materials. [ the model so far] I've also started work on an original model. While not exactly built with papercraft in mind, I wouldn't mind seeing someone futilely try and unfold it when it's finished. [ in progress] |

You really are getting the hang of these Sketchup creations, are you?
Since nobody actually responded, yet, may I 'raise my finger'? If possible, I would love to try to unfold your model. As long as it's Metasequoia-pepakura compatible...

There's some popular demand, on that model, or so it seems... I call it the CC-Vette (actually a stripped down laser 'vette), and have been updating the textures on it this evening. (well, actually its -very- late at night, here) I have extended the white 'wave' and created another texture for the other side. -I presume we don't want the 'CC' logo & text in mirror writing, now do we?  - So far it's finished in Metasequoia, but I don't know when it will be unfolded, yet. I'm starting to add a new ceiling to the attic this weekend in order to move our computers & hobby stuff there, when its redecorated. -and I'm in a hurry to finish that too- Here are some pics of the CC-Vette's current status:   Hmm... I'd like to think it turned out pretty well? Will keep you posted on the progress, See ya'
