There's only one Enterprise-E on the Relic boards, man. He's the best at graphics and whatever else. Enterprise rules

Oh, sorry for "forum affiliation" mistake Ent-E, I was nearly 100% sure you contributed something to their project. Also, I agree with Nerath, your models are a masterpiece (especially the Neetor frigate).

Conytrary to some of my earlier comments regarding Taiidan colour scheme, I am now formally changing my mind. With a shelf now stocked with a couple of Quarr Jets, a Sim Salla, Taii Corvette and a brace of Assault Frigates (and a nearly completed large format Saarkin Cho Carrier) I agree - Yellow and Red look excellent. Now then Enterprise, how about adding an option for your Yellow/Red Vaygr BC to the Starship models site After all, it could be run by former Taii empire crew.

Yes, Ent-E designed a few new Taiidan Republic starships for the purpose of Taiidan Republic mod for HW2. Republican Neetor Frigate is one of such ships.

Now, what IDIOT would paint a ship YELLOW and Light Red!?! You want the world to see you? Now, dont you think Black is a bit harder to see in space then BRIGHT[glow=Yellow,2,300]YELLOW[/glow]!

greetings all,
just thought I would throw in my 2 cents, There was a book i read once that pointed something out to me and i had never thought of it befor. Yes black would be the best color for space but space is big and in the future they will most likely use other means of detection (IE sensors) for there targeting and spotting. So the color of a ship is obsolete for all ya care paint it pink with neon green pokadots.because by the time ya get close enough to see it all of the baddys kenetics and ions are already locked on. That is why there are other camo technologys such as a cloaking divice! much more viable. As to red and yellow I think they are cool starship colors. bright vivid and send out a clear message of danger. Beaing in the military thought I ted to lean to a base color of tan with an olive drab stripe. In HW1 this looked a little wierd but in HW2 some of the ships look amazing

I agree with rx93ff. Given the tiny size of starships in space, the sight radius would be the sensor radius, so ship colors wouldn't mean anything (or maybe, would have role purpouses, like diplomatical ships painted of red in Star Wars (it can be seen in the ship the jedis arrive in TFM; even in empire age, the Tantive IV has still a red line along its hull)) Or maybe, acting as frog skin colours: "I'm poisonous, don't eat me" This means, camouflage will be devoted to avoid sensors, and not to hide the ship itself to the naked eye.
So I like to paint my ships according with stetical preferences: I like live orange base with pure white stripes, and my avatar logo as badge. This is the Cherels fleet, which keeps justice in the universe: be careful
