Nah, even modern day military fighter craft use friend or foe identification signals, whose interworkings are carefully and extremely well guarded. So im betting even the exiled kushan would have something far beyond our tech.

Ok, back to topic... I figured out a way to change colors in Paint Shop Pro, so I'll post that in my tutorial coming up here soon. I'll show both Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop CS so everyone will know how to do it.

Probably, I use psp8. But asside from a different interface, it looks like it's about the same as 7.

I didn't need to change HW2 team colors before, so i didn't look for a way to do it, but now i have a better way. Just as Enterprise said, team colors are stored in Alpha chanel, but in photoshop, Alpha can store selection too. So You'll have to load the texture, create a new alayer for team color, then open up "select" menu, find a drop-down list saying "layer1 transparency" and choose "Alpha1" from it. This will load selection from the alpha chanel, and no transparency will get lost. Now You just need to take a pencil tool, choose a big brush (size 99 works fine ) and paint the new layer with the team color You want. Now You'll just need to switch the layer mode to "overlay" and You're done. Do the same with the othe _EXPORT texture, and You'll have both team colors Note: You might need to invert the selection when You load it (select -> invert or [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+ ), but i'm not sure of this - it's been some time since i last did it.

Deimos, where've you been, man? Haven't seen you here in forever. It's all right if your schedule is nuts and you can't model, but drop in every so often to let us know how you're doing.

Just as i said - i've been quite busy, however lately i had some free time, but i used it for meeting friends and 3D modelling (yes, RequiemWar). The Requiem War project is comming along nicely - in last two months we had more progress than since the beginning. You might want to watch a trailer Enterprise-E made: forums.relicnews.com/showpost.php?p=838389&postcount=518I'll have to get to around making a paper model of a Requiem war ship someday, but if i think of all the work it will require... Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome I'll try to drop by more often And let's not spam this topic any more, or Nerath will have to close it
